Why Markdown only? Can it export PDF or Word?#
Markdown is the only output format. It is plain text, opens in any editor, and is easy to feed into other tools.
Which sites are supported? Will other AI sites be added?#
Conversation pages on these four sites:
- ChatGPT
- Claude
- Gemini
- Grok
No more will be added. Each new site adds maintenance work; these are the four I use daily and can keep up with when they change.
Does it export the whole conversation, or only what is on screen?#
The whole conversation, including the parts you have not scrolled to.
If the content is incomplete, Chat Freezer refuses to export it and shows an error.
Images and attachments are not exported, but a marker is left where they were.
Where does the file go?#
Into your browser’s default download folder, with no “Save as” dialog.
